No. Honestly I would do it with even 33's. It's cheap insurance. Believe it or not, a pothole can do damage.

Stick to the 2x tire to rim rule, 18x2=36, round up to 37's of course!

x2 on gussets and sleeves.

Get the 37s... I went from 33>35>37. Granted a got a great deal on the 37s.

Im running heavy toyo 37x13.5s on my 08' 3.73 gears. Its a dog but defiantly tolerable. I plan on doing c gussets and sleeves to the front axle and although I was planning on regearing I might reconsider and just keep the gears.

Just go 40s. You'll never think about wanting to go bigger.

Did everybody read that this is a build for street, no wheeling, and he has a family possibly with tiny kids in car seats? If 98dropta & wife have to bring a ladder to secure the kids in the back, this way over-built rig may not stay in their fleet for long. Unless this is a pure show rig.

I have a similar situation with family and kids. I've been running 35" and am moving to 37" I do go wheeling but I also use mine for a DD. the wife and kids will learn how to climb in and they will hopefully love the look also. My 2 cents!!!!
