35s without lift

how long do you think that i could run 35s without lift? see, i plan on lifting. but aprils rolled around and its time to get rid of the studded tires because theyre just getting worn out with all this extra street driving and procrastinating. so basically im asking you guys how long do you think i can run on 35s without lift without eating my fenders? i need to get the tires next week. and ill have the money for lift when my tax return comes in another 2 or 3 weeks.

After market rims or stock rims with spacers? Chop the hell out of the fenders and don't hit any bumps.

stock rims and spacers. and i thought about going that route. but for some reason i cant find it in myself to take a knife to them.

I got a set of stock fenders I will sell you for a $100 dollars, you can chop them.
I will meet you in Hampton.

With flats and proper bumpstopping its possible. Short term with no spacers or flats or bumpstopping is going to be a problem.

I know it'd illegal in VA to run without fenders. I was going to nix them and put on some fender trim...

I'm running B/W Flats with BFG A/T 35's. No problems here.https://www.jk-forum.com/forums/atta...1&d=1300995792

Well seeing these pics make me feel a bit better about getting my tires before my lift, they mesure 33.8 tall and 12.5 wide on 16" incubus rims, I don't think I'll have any problems?

I have 2 question:

1. Did you need to change your bump stops to run the 35's with the flat fenders

2. what kind of rocker guards are on your Jeep? Are the steps & bars welded to the Factory Rubicon Rails?

They didn't change bump stops. The pinch seam was pounded back and they had to trim the side rails. There's plenty of clearance because the fender kit is made for 37s, and the 35s I have are KM2s which are undersized anyway.

Yes, the rockers are my stock Rubj rails with the Poison Spyder Rico DIY kit welded on.

As your tire size approaches a real 35", additional bumpstopping in the rear becomes more important.
