I have an X with 35-12.5-17 Mudd grapplers. At the moment i have 3.73 gears but will be getting 4.88 pretty soon. I like them, they are not too loud. I have a soft top so its got some noise anyways.I also have a 4in lift on it

With the 35s and stock sahara rims, is there a need for wheel spacers?
Is there a problem with running these on a stock X axle?

Thanks for your input.
Yes you will need spacers and will still have frame rub at full turn. I ran this exact set up for over a yr. It works great .

I already took my air dam off so that shouldnt be a problem. I do offroad a good bit but nothing too serious, i am planning on doing the quick disco's in the future with flat fenders.

Thanks to all for the response.
Put a spacer on the carrier and it will fit fine. But word of caution the grappler weighs in at well over a 100 lbs with the rim. It can and probably will damage the gate and or the hinges . And the discos will have to be the kind you remove. Not the ones that rotate and hook to parking stubs. The side biters on the grappler will hit them and bend the shit outta them at full flex with wheels at full lock!!! Personal experience

Ditch the wheels and get some wheels with 3.5 to 3.75 inches of BS. 17x9. Cause your gonna go bigger it's not a matter of if....but when...prepare

I have 35x12.5x17 on my rig. I have 4.6 bs wheels and it's perfect. My rig is on a 2.5 teraflex bb. You will need spacers for your 6.25 bs sahara wheels.

You might want to consider at least gusseting your c's so they don't bend. It's mostly peace of mind. But I wouldn't want mine to bend. I gusseted my c's and sleeved my axles. Overkill? Some say yes someday no. But protecting a Dana 30? Priceless. I'll be going to 37's soon on my stock x axle

Mine fit my carrier. But it's really heavy on the door. Eventually you will want a bumper tire carrier. My 35's don't rub anywhere...till I disco my sway bar. Then I don't rub anywhere either...except on the inside of my front bumper. Maybe look into a stubby front bumper if you are going to be disco-ing alot.
