Default 37s sahara stock gear

so I have a set of 37 toyos in my garage and a 2010 manual. My question is anyone running stock 3.73 gear with 37s and the bare 3.8 engine I'm currently saving up for the lift I want and am curious if anyone runs this setup on an around town and mild highway use and how they like it? Thanks in advance

Can you? Yes. Should you? Well.. its probably going to be annoying. Its doable but you will be slipping the clutch a fair amount in first gear, at stop lights and traffic etc.
I'm also driving a 3.8L manual and I've been running 4.10s with 37s for less than a month now and will be regearing very soon.. Not sure how much weight you have added to your jeep but my jeep has a lot of armor weighing me down quite a bit.

Ultimately I don't find it as enjoyable to drive now with the 4.10s. I wouldn't do it for too long.

I'm going to try it with my 3.73's for at least the short term. I will probably run a smaller 37 like KM2's and I run a pretty light Jeep.

honestly yeah gears are going to be an issue, but even more so is your stock D30. It's just a matter of when it breaks rather than if.

I did on my old 2010 Sahara (rolled it). No gussets or anything even hung the 37 on the tail gate with no problems, even after the roll those parts were in tact! Lol U plan on doing hard wheeling then u need gears but if it's only minor stuff like getting to ur favorite fishing hole then ur fine

Yea that's about all this will be used for is fishing hole travel. It's my DD mostly town and 15-20 min highway trips at most usually. It's pretty light I have front and back bumper took off spare and put a tail cover on because I like the look better. And it has my team logo

This one I needed the 4 doors. I have my older YJ all built up with the small block for rocks and mud and that kinda fun. Trails around here aren't really comfortable for the 4 door. Have much more fun with the 2 dr YJ personally
