I'm running 5.13's on BFG KM2 35's. I have the Accupro Programmer and I highway commute between 75 and 80. At 80, it's around 2875/2925 in overdrive. You get lots of bottom end but at speed overtaking can kick the rpms pretty close to redline.

I REALLY like my 5.13's and think they are as close to perfect as you can get with 35's. I'm planning on seeing how 37's do real soon, I feel 37's and 5.13's WILL be the perfect combo.

I just don't think 4.88's are enough, I have 2 friends locally with 4.88's (I auto on 36's and 1 manual on 35's) the manual loves his, the auto wishes he would have went 5.13's.

I've never taken my Jeep about 70. But, you can go here and get this handy spreadsheet to calculate what your RPMS will be. It's been pretty accurate for me.

Another vote for 5.13's. I've got an auto and 35's and it is perfect. And as a bonus my mileage is the same as stock.

I am thinking of regearing, but only have 33"s M/T now and will run them till i need new ones. I might go to 35"s but never bigger than that, but that is atleast 1-2 years away. If I go 35's, i will go to A/T as well... Would 4.88 work better with 33"s ? I am pretty happy with that size now, but with my 3.7 gears, it really does just suck right now, any incline at all kicks it out of O/D

I have an auto also and I'm planning on 5:13's also with 35's, my question is do you have to go to the dealer to get the computer re-programmed for the diferent gears???

I used the Pro-Comp AccuPro, basically a rebadged Hypertech. I'm not sure if the dealer with calibrate it or not, I never asked them.

What would the RPM be with a manual, 35s and 5:13s?
