Default 4" in. lift with 33" in. tires?

Anyone on here running this setup? It's going to have to be what I run for a little while.. My 33's still have tread on them and I cannot afford to get 35's as well as the lift.. The lift will more than likely be installed by winter and the 35's will come maybe spring/summertime.. If anyone has this on their JK please post your input and let me see some pics.. Thanks guys!!

4" of lift is a lot of lift even for 35s. i would recomend a 3" lift (many lifts give more lift than advertised on order to help out with the weight of aftermarket bumpers and skids). but to answer your question it will look a little funny.

Agreed. A 4" lift with 33s is gonna look goofy. I would also recommend going with a 2.5 or 3". I'm running 35s with my TF 2.5 and have never rubbed a tire yet!

I am running 2.5" teraflex with flat fenders and 33s and I think the tires look to small

Your Jeep doesn't look goofy at all.. Actually it's suprisingly proportionate!! I have decided however to go with a 3" inch Black Diamond lift and retain the 33's until they're dead.. Thanks for the advise guys.
Now one more question: Should I go w/ Bilstein 5100's or pay more and go with Fox?

Here is my '12 with a 4" Rough Country lift I just installed on Fri. I have 33" tires. I do plan to get 35" as soon as I can afford to do so. But I honestly do not think it looks goofy this way.

I have a 3" Teraflex lift, which actually netted me about 4.25" with Cooper 33x12.5's

My goofy looking Jeep:

I think anytime your debating on tire size. You should go with the biggest you can fit, my reason for this is eventually you'll want to anyways. 4 in rc with 37s.
