Default 4″ LONG ARM kit information

Ok boys,... and girls. I am thinking about doing the 4″ LONG ARM kit from Full Traction with 37's Part# FTS7340 (2 DOOR). The question is, right now i drive an 08 X. i wouldnt worry that much if it was a rubicon, but with the Dana 30 up front i get worried. what exactly would i need to make this work. Im thinking that i would need new axle's, new drive shaft, new gears. if i need all these, where would i look for them. any help would be nice.
thanks, Dino

And would you consider an AirRock kit to go with it?

First off, the HP D30 is a strong axle. If you dont hit the skinny pedal. It'll hold up. If you have enough spare cash 4wd sells rubicon 44's for around $1,400.

5.13 gears is going to be a must to bring it back to stock performance. If not it'll be a dog.

You'lll need new driveshafts for sure, They might hold up for a little while, But I would not want to chance it, JE REEL makes three different styles to fit your needs.

Great choice on the lift, its what I plan on running when I can save the coin

if you are worried to much about axle breakage you could slip in some chromoly axle shaft in the front

First off you have a 4 door that makes a big difference in the need for driveshafts.
You can get away with alot more with a 4 door than a 2 door.
Are you running 35's? or 37's?

35's is ok with stock gears, 4:10's. But it isnt for shit on the highway. 37's i wouldnt even consider without regearing.

I think it needs to be said that these kits are not ready for shipping yet. They should be in the middle of January. Currently I believe it is installed on four jeeps getting tested.
