I have 20% and here is why, at night and real cloudy days, 5% can be just a little too dark. We have a lot of sidewalks where I live, and crossing traffic onto other streets, with 5% it's very difficult to see persons walking, cars backing up etc...

I know this because I've had 5%. I did a light tint on my front windshield( illegal) but that coupled with 20% all around, made a big difference.

Depends a lot too on local law enforcement/ inspections , etc. Hope this helped.

I have a hard enough time with 20% at night... I think 5% would be extremely difficult to deal with in the late hours. I even roll down my windows sometimes in order to see oncoming traffic when it's late.

20% - looks good, blocks a lot of light still, making it hard to parallel park in low light.

5% is limo tint - It is dangerous and I would be surprised if you didn't get a fix-it ticket within a short while.

Do 20% front and 5% in the back looks great and makes it hard for people to look inside to steal your shit.
