Just make sure the tint you're getting is good and make sure he will fix it if anything goes wrong within at least 2 -3 months.
Thanks he has done work for me years ago all his work has lifetime on it. I was not sure because he did my 4 door f150 7 windows and front window sun shade for 160. But like I said this was 3 years ago. That's why I thought it was a little high

Driver/Passenger windows at 45%. That's minimum where I live. Well it's actually 50% +/- 5%

Cost me $100 cash

Matched the back as well. I thought my installer said it was 15% but I could be wrong.

One of two things must be working for you running tint that dark:

1) You have a great relationship with the local cops
2) You are in law enforcement and have a 'get out of jail free card' (badge)

I think a lot of is it had to do with area. Here in Chicago they won't even look at you twice for tinted windows. I've had them on all my vehicles and have never been pulled over for that. Of course like you I have option 2 in my back pocket if needed.

Alright no, direct from logic itself "the cops notice that your tint on the front windows is lighter than the back so they won't bother you." This is true in most cases. If your tint is the same on all windows and they're dark they'll know you're illegal. I have 15 on the front, 5 on the rest.

Quick Reply: 5% or 20% TINT?
