5.38 for the Dana 30 is available now from Richmond. I would hold off on a gear change on a non Rubicon until we get some feedback on this new option!

Right now I'm running 3.73's, and I don't use us od at all, not even on the freeway. I also have the Superchips flashpaq which has been helpful.

I have 5.38's with 33" tires - that should have been my first mod! Lots of pep around town and I tow a camping trailer so I really needed the 5.38's. I expect to go to 34-35" tires some day.

Having said that, the 4.10 gearing in 4 low was just perfect. But, now I don't have to shift into 4 low at the first sight of an off road grade. The jury is still out on the really rough stuff with the lower gearing - not much wheeling this winter but heading to Colorado and Moab in a week or so!
