Default RPM's

so here you go 2d six speed 35"

6th:

60mph 2450

70mph 2950

75mph 3100

I can leave it in 6th going up a pretty good hill and still accelerate at a decent pace.

I really think its a little too low for 35's if your a daily driver predominately. but with 37's it should be perfect.

I wont use 1st from now on unless I am off road. it takes off in 2nd just like it did in 1st before the regear.

plus i can leave it in 6th and cruise in town at 35-40 no problem.

hope this helps those of you still trying to decide.

are you saying that you'd recommend 4.88's for people with 35's and use it mostly as a daily driver? What about people that have auto tranny's...?

Just as an aside. The numbers that you posted track very closely to the spreadsheet that Shrockworks did up and posted here on the forums several months ago. According to their spreadsheet the numbers should be:

60: 2482
70: 2896
75: 3103

An automatic with otherwise identical factors would track as follows:

60: 2039
70: 2379
75: 2549

Default gears

5.13's are definitely the way to go for an auto according to everyone on the forum. but I cant make a reccomendation because mine is a stick. . if I had to use mine as a daily driver I would probably like the 4.88's better. I plan on wheeling it quite a bit this summer so I am not disappointed at all. the extra power is nice.....

I just made my appointment at Extreme Gear for my 5.13 and rear ARB install on 4/2. I have an auto and will post up then, from what I've heard on here should be nice! I would guess within 2 years I'll be on 37/38s anyway.
