Default 52" Light Bar + Hard Top Noise

Does anyone experience any wind noise with their 52" or 50" light bar while running a hard top? I'm running a soft top right now and the wind noise is unbearable. I have a hard top on it's way in right now (not for this reason) and was curious if there will still be a considerable amount of wind noise. My light bar doesn't make the typical whistle noise at all, but it has a loud wind noise that almost sounds like you have the windows down and it makes the soft top flop a little.

The wind whistle sound comes when you have a hard top.

Go and buy some black caulk in a tube cut the end so its smaller then the openning of the fins on back of you light bar. Then calk in between the fins not the whole length just an inch on each end and then an inch in the middle. DO NOT CAULK THE WHOLE LENGTH OF YOUR LIGHT BAR THE FINS ARE THERE FOR COOLING PURPOSES. I caulked the bottom half of mine and there is no more high pitch wistle works great. I've had freinds caulk the top half and bottom half they say it works. If i were you I would just start by caulking the bottom half try it out and see it it works if not calk the top half too. Good luck!

I have a 50" straight bar and I have only heard it whistle once. I was aired down driving through town to a campsite. I had never heard the whistle before and actually wondered what the noise was. Typically my tires are humming too loud to notice the whistle.

As for wind noise, yes. Mine is very loud and I thought I had a window down the first time I drove with it on. I am planning on making a quick disconnect plug for the light just because I want to improve aerodynamics a bit. High wind with the light bar on has taken me from 16L/100km to over 19L/100km which is stupid low economy.
