Default 8 lug beadlocks

I've already made up my mind which one I am getting but if you were to choose between these two wheels, which one would you pick and why?

TrailReady HD17 17x8.5 with 3.5" BS and 8 on 6.5
KMC Machete 17x9 with 3.5" BS and 8 on 6.5

I like the one on the right. My main concern would first to be sure they have the backspacing you require.

I listed the specs on wheels in the 1st post....both have 3.5" back space.

Having owned rims like those with no drain holes for the last 3 months I would get the machete's. My wheels trap water and dirt under the ring and it doesn't drain out. It makes them look like crap and has me worried about the ring screws eventually rusting because there is always a water puddle in the wheel. I can drive to work through some rain at 6:00am and there's still puddles in my wheels at lunch time.

I would get the Machete's 1) Because I like the looks and 2) I like the drain holes. All my friends running Slabs complain about them holding water.

Ryan (moderator) and I are both looking to get the Machete's if we can find a good deal!!

Drain holes would be nice I suppose but I never have a problem with water sitting in my trailready's with the World Series ring ... The water sprays out on the road I don't know maybe cause it's my daily driver as well ...... Plus the customer service is great there if that means anything to you..... So what did you choose?
