Default Dyno proven?

Has anyone done a before and after dyno test privately to determine the real world HP\Torque gain?

Default hypertech programmer

I just recently purchased a hypertech max energy programmer and i am really happy with it. I have a 2 door jk, with 32 inch open country all terrains, k and n air filter, 3.5 inch skyjacker lift and 16 inch chrome hulk rims. I use to get about 14 mpg and now i get close to 17 mpg with the hypertech programmer its awesome!

what about the programmer AND the chip..?

will the new program be "too much" for the chip (ie. making it "useless")

OR, is there some "combined gain" still available from having both?

OR... forget the chip, just get the programmer?

I have had the programmer since the first batch came from northridge back in february of this year. It does what it advertises and there are about 100 threads that say this. Search.

I put one in both the wife's stick and my automatic and it works well in both!

A little off topic but that's terrible gas mileage. I'm getting around 17.2 - 17.4 with my 35's MT's, highway mileage. This was with a modified stock air box, K&N filter and modified intake pipe (from the airbox to the TB).

The added HP and recalibrated speedometer would be great but I'd also be interested in how the hypertech affects mileage. It would definitely be nice to scrounge another mile per gallon or so out of it....lol

Lemme know how the 4.88's work out for you pls. I am still up in the air about 488 VS 513. I am leaning to the 513 because I really have no use for over 70 on the freeway

X2, I am not sure if the Hypertech is helping since I have been running it from just about day one of my Jeep pickup. I am getting 16-17 city/highway mix on 35's with 4.10 gears and 6 speed manual. I love the gearing just the way it is; however, our engines are still anemic.
