Default ACE vs. Shrockworks

So what's the big difference between the ACE and Shrockworks rock sliders (2 door version) that merits a $200 difference?

As far as I can tell, the Shrockworks bolts to the frame vs the Ace that uses the body mount bolts. Worth a $200 difference, I don't know. I have the Ace sliders on my 4-door, very stout.

They are probably equal in terms of quality. But the ACE parts you will receive in a week while it will takes months for a Shrockworks product. I have nothing against Shrockworks, I love their front bumpers.

Shrockworks makes a great quality product but you will wait at least 3 months easily to get your order. The other thing they charge your card right off the bat so you will have paid for something you won't see for a while.

Shock works appear stronger but I've heard ace has a very good off road guarantee. I don't know for shock works.

If you like the looks of the Shrockworks sliders, check out T&T Customs and White Knuckle Off Road for some nice alternatives.

ACE is an affordable option, comparable in quality to Rough Country Suspensions, if that helps you. I am not a fan of their body mount rails, but they do have other options now.

The Shrockworks cover more distance front and rear than the ACE; look at side view pics of each. But...no drilling with the ACE; both seem to hold up well per forum user reports. I've thrown in LOD in my decision tree as well. Otherwise, I'm in same boat as you.

Been waiting 5 weeks for my bumper. Supposed to be 1-2 weeks... So in that respect, kinda similar
