Default Adam's Front Driveshaft Users, what caster are you running?

You guys with front adam's driveshafts, I was wondering what caster you guys were running. Called them up and they said anywhere from 2-5 should be the way to go. Trying to find out on here what you guys set yours at without vibration. Higher the better (for highway stability) but would like to get somewhat in the ball park before I adjust my lower control arms.

I know there is a tradeoff between driveline vibrations and caster due to the pinion angle/caster relationship.

Thanks!

I dropped mine off for an alignment this morning at Firestone. Ill post up the print out later today. I took it to the stealership and the dude tried to set it a 12. I'm not sure if he was talking about the front or rear, but it was completely jacked up when I got it back anyway. So I fixed the rear end, and did some adjusting on the front then to Firestone for the lifetime alignment.

Yep, up front it's all about the trade-off. Stock caster is around 4.2 degrees. After a lift, caster goes down, somewhat proportionate to how much height was added. Most seem to like getting back up into the 4-5 degree range after the lift, but none of us can say when 'you' will start getting vibes.

When I added brackets, I did some messing around with the arms. At 10 degrees, nasty vibes. Down at 7 degrees, all is good. (I have a caster corrected pr, though... )

But that's the beauty of adjustable arms - Too flighty, add more caster. Vibes, back it off.

I have adjustable arms and Adams front 1310. My caster is just over 4* (per angle finder). Have not had any issues in almost 2 years.

I started mine at 6, but had some vibes and developed a pinion seal leak; ended up taking it back down to around 4 (angle finder so not sure on true/exact measurement).

I would start at 4.5 degrees of castor and drive it.

I have 3 1/8" of measured lift with 1310s. My caster is set at 4.3 degrees with no vibes and such.

I run 5° of caster and 5° of upward pinion angle splitting the 10° of separation built into the PR44.

I think that would be the PR44 U ? (I believe the regular PR44 is the normal 6 degrees)
