Default Adding CAI and/or exhaust - SMOG results?

I’m in Southern Cali...this might be dumb question but how will adding an CAI and/or exhaust effect my SMOG tests...in Cali we have to have these done every couple of years.

Will I have to reinstall stock set-up every time before my tests?

You should not have any trouble. A cat back doesnt effect your smog, most cai are smog legal.

well not all of Cali. up here where I live (mendocino co.) you only have to smog when buying a vehicle. yet another benifit of the "country" lifestyle....

but yea most "cat back" systems and CAI's are legal....
