Damn, I'd have bought that rear bumper for $500 alone!

I just ponied up $600 for a rear bumper that was below the AEV on my wish list.

FYI. You can get AEV touch up paint from qtec or Northridge that will match exactly. I've done it for my front AEV bumper previously (PA winters get pretty salty) and I spray all my new add-ons with it as well.

So yes, the consensus either way is buy them!

...but tell them $450 because of all the rust!!

The rust is an AEV design flaw. My bumper did the same and AEV sent me a $50 repair kit which consisted of marine grade 3M RTV and their black industrial textured paint. Sand the rust off with a wire wheel, apply RTV, then paint.
