Wow! that looks really cool!! and you are right it was a cheap chinese copy... that would probably explain it! I love the LED Lights!

6" flares, the widest one they had. I love them, they cover my offset wheels pretty well! I have had them since 2011

Its called a Fury series hood, I am a Regional importer for that hood. Its carbon Fiber, with aluminum supports for extra strength. It is part of a set of three. The grille matches it and there is an aluminum bumper too, but I prefer a full coverage bumper ( the fury bumper is a stubby )

I have an AEV. Like it. Like the way it's looks. In my opinion it does its job. Insurance paid for it. There are other hoods out there that will do the same. They are fairly heavy.

Thanks for the reply. The more I think about it the more I want one. From what I gathered everyone is happy with it. I've even been told it is a must have. I guess I am also biased towards AEV products as well.

i have the totl hood. it looks nice and i get compliments fairly often. never have any issues with water getting in. was kind of cool this winter being able to see the heat excaping out the top and the vents on the sides work well. infact the metal mesh will almost burn you if you touch it after a drive.

I think the AEV hood helps the fan evacuate the heat quicker with the low pressure vent on the front of the hood. Maybe some cool air into the air filter & computer from the side vents. Most high performance cars use this idea these days. The Total Innovations hood will vent better than anything out there.

Nobody that I am aware of. Sorry the way I wrote that was misleading.

I am getting a local body shop to paint it.

That was the grand total for the hood + painting
