Can anyone answer what the differences are between the 3.5 and the 4.5? Is it just springs? any of the brackets different? Do you only need a front shaft? Or is there more you need to get?
differences: front shock positioning kit allows for more travel, brackets are same just front control arms move to lower holes, positioning of rear bump stops change for more travel. I changed the front driveshaft, put spring retainers and guides in rear to prevent falling out in extreme articulation, rear track bar positioned to higher hole. Not much else. For 35's the 3.5 is te best. you can do 37's with flat fenders and cutting pinch seam or Rubi rails also and maintain a low center if gravity.

Yes, I will more than likely never go bigger than 35's or the 3.5, I do plan on flat fenders though.

Thanks for the info.

SC has the upgraded steering flip kit which substantially improves ride, steering and handling.

They also throw in the ProCal and jack base. If you're not interested in either of those, they're easy to resell and recoup some cash!

We put a 3.5" AEV Premium on our 2dr 6 speed in January and a new rear Currie driveshaft with Teraflex rear upper and lower control arms in early July. Rides phenomenally and had no problems before the new driveshaft. Just wanted to be safe. Just drove it 1500 miles to Colorado and back with zero problems and spent a week up there taking it on moderately difficult mountain passes with no problems as well. Couldn't be happier.

Did you use the drop brackets with the front lower control arms? Did you change your caster from what the aev kit sets it to?

I just called aev about the 3.5 sc premium kit and asked the about the parts warrenty. I told them i was looking at their kit and the rk 3.5 kit and that the rk kit has lifetime warrenty. The person I talked to said the aev kit comes with 12 month warrenty;

I asked why only one year when others have lifetime. he replied "thats probably a good question" he paused for a few secounds and then said we haven't seen any problems.

i wasn't very impressed with his attitude
