aFe high tuck exhaust
Hey everybody-
I tried to do a search, and not much came back on this.
Is any one running the AFE hi tuck exhaust system? It looks like a slight gain in ground clearance. I have issues w/ relocating to next to the evap canister, because of different skid plates, etc. I have added.
I KNOW not to expect much performance gains, but I REALLY wouldn't mind changing the very wimpy sound of the stock muffler, and maybe gain a little clearance at the same time. Also, after a few winters here in the northeast, the stock muffler is looking real bad.
Any thoughts? Or even better, any pics or clips? thanks in advance.

I'm not running the exhaust but while playing on youtube last night I found a video on aFe and their exhaust. Pretty good setup with a video and dyno of an Unlimited Rubicon.

I'm running Gibson but thought I would try and help.

I have the Mach force-XP on mine not the hi tuck. I think they are basicly the same except for where the tail pipe exits.
I can't really tell if there is much in the way of power gain as I did the Superchip flashpak at the same time.
It does have a good sound roar to it with the 3" pipe. My wife is not to fond of it.

However, it seems to me that it is one of the few systems that stays in the stock position and sits a little higher than stock. That is a plus for wheeling, and I would not mind a little tougher sound. Although, I don't want it TOO loud, and I REALLY do not want to sound like a kid in civic or something

I agree that the results are total B.S. Also when the kid reads off the results you can tell he's full of it. I like the way the exhaust tucks too and this video is a decent example of noise levels in the cabin.
