Air Filters
I did a search but could not find anything on air filters. Other than a snorkel what kind of air filters are people using? I was thinking about going to a cold air intake with a K&N cone style filter and the prefilter sock over it. My stock air Filter needs to be changed. It sees a lot of dirty. What are other people doing to keep dirt out of the engine.?

I run the regular K&N drop in filter. Does great.
|
I bought a oem style k&n filter because I can Wash it as many times as I want. The only time I used something else to help keep the dirt out was glamis sand dunes, I used pantihose.

Mopar replacement from dealership. Same price as Autozone. Just check and change regularly.

The k&n filer will allow more air through it, but also more dust/dirt resulting in lower oil life. The stock filter is great for trapping the particles. I run a RR snorkel with a reusable k&n filter for daily driving, but switch to a stock filter when I know I'll be on a dusty trail.

I run K&N, runs like a champ and its washable, guaranteed for life.
|
X2 the K&N is a good choice.

Don't do the cold air and save some money. Regular K&N drop in filter works amazing! Washable and you'll have it forever.

K&N drop in for me as well. Does the job and reusable.
|
K&N drop in with a Rugged Ridge snorkel. Seems fine so far.
