Any opinions? I want to keep weight additions to a minimum, retain strength and durability. I've been looking mainly at Nemesis' Billy Rocker and Poison Spyder's Brawler Rocker.
I'm worried that due to Aluminum being softer it might gouge easier and not slide as well as it's steel counterpart. |
Go with steele, aluminum is a lot softer and will gauge if you go off roading.

Keep the aluminum for bumpers.

Is aluminum really strong enough for a bumper? Especially if your adding a winch? I know it's more rigid than steel, so wouldn't it be prone to cracking?

I have the Brawler Rockers in steel on my JKU. They are stout to say the least.
