305 = 12" wide. 325 = 12.5" wide

Actual size will depend on the manufacturer. You can look at the manufacturer's website to get the exact height. But most 315/70-17's and 35x12.50-17's are gonna be around 34 1/2 or 34 3/4 inches tall. Almost all tire manufacturers will round sizes up to the next whole number.

Also, a 325mm tire is approximately 13.00 inches wide. Exact width will vary from manufacturer to manufacturer. Look at Nitto's specs on the Terra Grappler for example.

I have a chance to get some Toyo MT's for a good price. so I may do this instead of MTR's. will I feel the want to Change gears more with the toyos because of the weight? I've is it more of a matter of size and not weight?
