Default Another Life Help Thread!

This is my first Jeep and the first vehicle I have owned that is going up in terms of suspension! So, please excuse my dumbness in all of this.

So background on my Jeep. I own an 07 JKU (non-rubicon); my goal is to put 37's on it. I don't wheel THAT often or wheel THAT hard. When I do wheel it's mainly forest trails.

Here is what I do know!
The D30 is the weak point when putting 37's on it. I figure I can "beef" it up a bit and it appears everybody is trying to get rid of D30 stuff quite often so I can pick it up repair it.

In terms of lifts from what I have gathered cam bolts and non-adjustable control arms are bad. And depending on the lift I need to be worried about DS issues.

So here is what I am considering.
Teraflex 3'' Suspension with 4 Flexarms
RC 1.25'' BL.
Fender Trim Mod or Bushwacker Flat Fenders
Teraflex Axle Sleeve and Gusset Kit
5.13 Gears
Superchips

So, I guess my questions are:
Is netting 4.25'' of lift going to clear 37's for me?

Would I be better off skipping the BL and just getting the TF 4''-4 Flexarm lift?

What would be the advantage of the 3'' over the 4'' or vise-versa?

What is the advantage of the 8 flexarm kit?

Can I upgrade to the 8 flexarm kit later?

On TF's website I don't see DS recommendations. For a 3'' lift I am assuming new DS are recommended. Could I use the stock one for a while and upgrade them later? On the 4'' lift would I need to purchase new ones right away?

Is there anything else I would need to purchase? Required or recommended?

Thanks for your help!

You'll be fine with that setup. You can always get the other 4 arms later.
You have a 4dr your rear shaft will last a loonng time. Your front, run it till it gives you probs.

Thanks! I like the concept of wheel it until you break it. I already have purchased the stock parts so why not use them until they break?!?

I've been seeing a lot about the TF Front Track Bar lately something I should add? Also, I am guessing I should add a steering stabilizer?

If I were you, that'd definately be something to add to get your front axle centered. Stabilizer? If yours is not leaking and still works ok, no real need to change it.

I think you'll be fine with the 3" kit with 37s. I just installed that kit on my 4 door. I'm running 35s and it would have plenty of room for 37s. You'll be fine with 4 flex arms (I actually did front lowers and rear lowers. The kit comes with rear uppers. See if you can pay slightly more for the rear lowers). I also would get the front adj trackbar. Talk to David at Northridge. He will work with you on all of the pricing--great guy. I have zero vibration with the 3" kit.

Also, it says 3", but I think it's more like 3.5" or maybe 4". Wish I would have measured before and after.
