Any JK X's Blow a Diff. Yet?

Kinda curious to hear stories on the 30/35 combo. It seems a tonne of folks running 35's and time will come... so lets hear the dilemmas!!!

There aren't that many D35's in JK's, as far as I know. I think they discontinued them early in the '07 model year run.

That is, unless they brought them back for some reason. :sad2:

Had my 15K differential service about a month ago at 4 Wheel Parts in Van Nuys, CA. Mechanic said both of them looked flawless. The fluid in the front was a little dirty, the back axle was virtually spotless. MAN, I love this vehicle.

Yes, there were a few D35's in early 2007 JKs, but I've yet to actually see one. It really is good they finally went exclusively to the D44.

in the brochure is says the following...

Next Generation Dana 44 Heavy-Duty Solid Front and Rear Axles.
Durability and articulation come from heavy sahfts, stiff housings, large pinion bearings and above-center pinion mountings. the above-center mounting helps reduce driveshaft joint angles for smoother, quieter opertation and also add ground clearance (standard on Rubicon, Dana 44 rear axle standard on all models)

Does this mean the D44 is on a Bone Stock JK X ???

EDIT, Nevermind, the last pages states a D44. My mistake folks.
