Default Anyone have a write up for sleeving the 30?

Can't upgrade axle for quite a while so need to gusset and sleeve. My mechanic knows an excellent welder that's done gussets but not sleeves yet.

Looking for pics and maybe a write up to show what needs to be done.

Thanks guys

Not too hard. Remove the axles. Jam a rag on the end of a coat hanger and push down the tube so it protects the diff gears from getting metal shavings in there. Drill holes. Remove rag. Insert sleeve. Weld holes. Put back together.

Default Instruction

Teraflex has a good set of instructions. You should be able to get them off their site.

Ok I just read that the EVO sleeves could become full of water and mud in the long run do to the seals. Has anyone noticed this problem or should I not fear? What about the Teraflex sleeves? I know their sleeves are open to allow debris to exit tube.

Getting ready to pull the trigger so need some advice. Oh, and what about the Teraflex Gussets?

Thanks guys,

x2 it's not that hard.

The EVO ones come with instructions, I would guess that the teraflex ones do to.
