Default Anyone install a Sprint Booster yet?

Has anyone installed this module for our drive by wire Jeeps? I heard about this a few months back and thought it made pretty good sense. If so where did you get it, how much did you pay and what your thoughts were.

Thanks,
E

Thanks just took a peek at the thread. I am sure this is worth the money, all reviews online seem to think so. They make it for just about every drive by wire vehicles.

I am a "newbie" and you can look at my previous posts, I don't work for any vendor. But I do know cars, Jeeps, motorcycles, mods, fabrication, and accessories. This thing actually works!

I am running a UniChip with the SprintBooster. Let me start by saying, even without my chip turned on this is a very noticeable "performance" mod. I have seen lots of people argue that the FlashPaq this, Hypertech that does the same...but it doesn't. The tuners (or chips in my case) boost performance but the SprintBooster is a little different. The throttle itself is MUCH more sensitive and there by ADDS to your tuned (or even your stock) Jeep. It really does what it claims.

I noticed it the most off-the-line and while doing subtle passes on the highway. That is not to say it wasn't noticeable off-road either. The skinny pedal was more in tune with my subtle throttle pressure (especially in low) and there by my driving was more controlled...does that make sense?

If you have the extra cash laying around (it's a little pricey and most of us don't have EXTRA cash) I'd bet you would not regret getting it.

I am not one that will hesitate sending something back if I don't like it. with that said, I am not sending this thing back.

Note to SprintBooster: You can send the t-shirts, stickers and cash directly to me for pimping your product.

Might have to put this on top of my list of things to buy..Although I love my SuperChips FP if this can help compliment the tuner I am all for it...I do notice that even with the Flashpaq & 5.13 gearing (it could be just the nature of the TQ converter & auto trans itself), but while I am cruising up to about 2500rpm & keeping a steady speed ~45mph, the RPM drops to 1200RPM and feels like the JK is lagging, I would have to step on the skinny pedal to have the trans downshift and increase the speed....

With your rig, seems like a cruising speed or around 45mph would be a good place for OD off.

Also, I'm having some difficulties envisioning how the Sprint Booster is worth 300 bones. I'd certainly love to try one and get my mind changed, but the little bit of fact finding or should I say opinion gathering has yet to compel me to part with the cash.

Me too, I haven't read anything on it, but it sounds like its all in the throttle response. Nothing else. No speedo calibration, tpms, code reader, etc, etc? It may help a hair over my flashpaq, but bang for buck tells me it isn't worth it for only throttle response. The FP increase is good enough for me, and as far as performance..wide open throttle is wide open throttle. Any automatic shifting changes it may have does me no good.

Sprint booster, $300, pure/only throttle mapping? No thanks, not worth another $300 to me. I hold whatever gear I want, and if I want it to be in the "power band" ill stick it in that gear. I'm not bashing it or anything, just my reasoning for not being interested in purchasing one.
