Anyone make a Rear frame rail cap?
I'm looking to get a cap to finish off my exposed rear frame rails after removing my bumper. Do any of the vendors manufacture these or the like?

Go to your local High School or College Metal or Ag shop. Tell the boys there what you want. Many of them will make you whatever you want, granted you buy the metal. Gives them valuable practice, gets their name out there, and many will clean it up extremely well 'cause they want you to tell more people about their work.
My uncle just had a full set of Ranch hand bumpers made for his chevy. That kid did great. Used a Tube bumper, had a winch plate on top, diamond plate on the top and sides, brush/ cattle guard, then the kid painted them. Rear was also quite nice with a hitch, diamond plate, standing room. Matched the curves of the truck very well. Kid did it as his Finals project. Uncle's been using them for several years now and they've held up nicely to rough farm use. |
