Up to you what size you want. Don't let someone influence you. I have an auto and 35s. I wish I stuck with my desired decision to go with 4.88s but I let the shop talk me into 5.13s. Don't get me wrong, on the trail these 5.13s do all the work. However, I feel the 4.88s would've had the perfect ratio between trail use and mpg around town.

I just had G2 5.13 gears installed and the difference is there. Amazing! I also have an automatic with 35in M/T so if u get a response from someone with a stick, they can get away with 4.88 but the automatic wont. BEFORE In town I was getting 10.9 mpg now with the gears and Superchip reprogramming(only tire size and gears programmed) I now get 13.7, and I have a heavy foot. My next test is a highway test.

Also remember our automatic is a 4speed and the manual is a 6speed.
Our STOCK MPG IS::
HWY:19
CITY:15
AVERAGE : 17

Brand doesn't matter. All gears made in same factory, then different name put on them.

Buy cheapest.

Why would you use a generic chart that isn't anywhere close to correct, instead of the charts in the FAQ's that are designed specifically for the JK with both JK transmissions?

Run 4:88 in an auto 3.8 elockers front and rear prorock 44 upfront stock rear on 35s. I would go with 5:13 if I did it again.

I have Yukon 4:88's with no problems, been running them for a year now.
