ARB Air Compressor

so i was about to put out the cash for the ARB Air compressor, then i saw ya need to pay another 50 bucks for the "tire hose kit"---for that 50 bucks it doesn't include a pressure gauge!!!!!

WTF?

You don't need the $50 hose kit. You can use any cheap $10 flex hose with a tire chuck and pressure gauge to use the ARB. What I did...

The hose kit is 40 not 50 :D

And it comes with the special adapter to connect the tire pump up kit and the pressure switch to the compressor. Really not a bad deal if you ask me.

I have an arb compressor on my YJ. I've been using it with the "tire hose kit" to fill my 35's for years. It works well, but the kit is cheesy. You can buy the pieces yourself and build a better quality setup for less. The pump is good though.

For my JK, I'm probably going to go with a portable Viair compressor due to the lack of space unbder the hood.

Chris.
