Love the RR much better than the stock. Below is a post I did when I modified it.

Rugged Ridge arm rest as shipped is to far back for some reason. I took it apart and
reattached it through the front holes with a wood screw and large washer. It works great now.

Your definately right, but after reading all the post on how much people save on doing there own mods. Spending 15 or 20 and some of your own time is alot better. Specially when you spread that over alot of different mods....its alot of money saved, and alot of times it done the way you like it.

I have this armrest and it is one of the best mods i have done to the JK. Very comfortable and is at the right hight to make long road trips more enjoyable. My only regrets were buying the quadratec one with the ugly logo, only to see the next day the same arm rest sold by 4wd with out the logo....doh!

Trust me, I hear whut yer sayin. There was somebody on here that did a nice one. I think he had like 80 bucks in it. His was longer than either of the two in this thread though and was real nice. It could go either way. If you do your homework, you oughtta be able to come up with sumthin that won't break the bank. Let us know if you do.

I've had the Quadratec armrest for a couple of weeks, and I think it's great. Perfect height. Good padding. Very comfortable.

Don't give a rat's ass about the logo - when I'm in the Jeep I tend to be looking outside. Never notice the logo!

If you never buy anything with a logo, what car, TV, stereo, jeans, etc., do you buy???
