My answer would be determined by the axle in question, the use of the vehicle and the area where it is used. IMO, there is no single 'right' answer.

I was ready to go arb rear and lsd front but realized that was foolish as best use for lsd is in rear on-road driving. Anyway, once had the onboard air and my switch panel set up, decided to fill all the slots incl f and r air lockers! As good a reason as any i guess.

Man up, Detroits

Detroit Locker offers a complete selection of time proven lockers for Jeep vehicles. The patented locking gear mechanism has been the standard in lockers for decades. The 100% axle lock-up & positive gear action is clutchless with nothing to wear out. The trouble-free automatic operation requires no complicated wiring or switches. Detroit Lockers come with a heavy-duty differential carrier to replace the stock unit

Big price different. If price is no object go for the ARB. If u just want to luck the front and are on a budget then Aussie. I have an aussie right now in my d30 and main reason I went with Aussie is to lock the front right now for rock crawling until I upgrade to the d44 and I will put an ARB in then.

Agreed. As the OP lives in BC, I would not go with an Aussie locker. They are trouble on snowy/icey roads. If you do a locker, go selectable.

I would go selectable lockers if they are in your budget. They offer more versatility in different situations, especially icy conditions as stated where they can be dangerous
