Automatic to Manual transmission swap

Hey guys I have an automatic transmission in my 2007 jeep jk and really want a manual. How difficult and expensive do you guys think this would be to do if i'm currently running a 5 speed auto and want a 6 speed manual?

Are you saying you want to rip out the auto and install a manual?

Might be easier to sell yours and buy a manual JK....

Yeah thats what I want to do cause my jeeps built a decent amount already. So how much do you think?

Trade in your jeep for the 6 speed and start building your jeep all over, better yet take off all your stuff you've put in your current jeep, bring it back to stock because resale as a stocker your better off anyways, get your new jeep with the manual and put all your aftermarket parts on your new jeep. Problem solved cheaper in the end.

^^^ I have to agree. It's not just a parts swap, it's a programming issue, too.

same advice I give for engine swaps and auto swaps...

sell it, and buy the one you want.

Interior Rack

We have the swap parts, for about $1500.00. We have done it many times, the only thing you will need to buy is the wiring from the TIPM to the ABS for a Manuel and a Computer NEW.
Takes about a day to do.

So essentially 2000/2500 and you could change your auto to a manual? That is a hell of alot cheaper than I was thinking.
