What is an average cost on the East coast to have your jeep re-geared?

Thanks!

From doing research on here the numbers are all over the place. I know it isn't the east coast but I thought I'd just throw it up for reference. Here in Michigan I was quoted $1300 for everything. If I supplied my own parts they wanted $750 for labor which when buying the gears and overhaul kit from Northridge4x4 also works out to $1300.

Unfortunately since you are located in Maryland you are going to get hammered on labor with any shop in the tri state area.

I looked around for nearly a year before I found a friend of a friend to install ours.

My suggestion..... take a drive down to NC and talk to the EVO authorized dealer down there. They honor the same deal as EVO with the $999 parts and labor install

LOL, since when does $600 in parts+$450 in labor=$950? That is $1050 according to my math.

Galloways 4x4 will do JK's for $1,200 bucks. They are very good at gear jobs and I don't trust anyone else to do mine. JOE>
