Default Beadlocks are killing me...

So I just got a set of Walker Evans beadlocks for my 37x12.5x17 ProComp MT/2s and I can not get the wheels to seat on the back of the rim... I've tried the strap thing, tried pushing on the tire, tried bouncing it... nothing works and now I'm getting frustrated... Please help.

Have you tried resting the wheel on to a bucket and then letting the weight of the tire work for you?

also, did you try wiping the wheel edge and tire edge with some dish soap? not a lot, enough to coat both mounting surfaces...

does your air compressor have enough pressure to overfill the tire?

Pull the valve out of the stem
Wet/soap water to the bead rkm and tire
Put a knee against the back side of the rim and use your knee to push rim forward while pulling tire back
Then air up tire this I had to do on 2 of my toyos the other day with that thick of a sidewall what a chore....

I'm using a shop compressor so it has plenty of pressure.

That's a good idea, I will try this as well if the bucket trick doesn't work...

Updates in the morning...
