Smoke and mirrors. If it was that easy in these days of everyone watching their fuel mileage (including the EPA) don't you think the vehicle manufacturers would just build them this way? You hear a noisy intake and think you gain power? puh-leaze Horsepower numbers sell vehicles people. Wake up !!

Exactly!!! Engines run at 14.7-1, add more air and you have to add more fuel. They will add a few hp after 4000 rpm and sound good but don't expect any payback on better mpg.

K&N all the way gives a nice sound when gunning it also not to badly priced and gives a little more kick when you have an aftermarket exhaust also it is true you dont gain mpg with a CIA all it does is provid the engine with more air to burn fuel the only time i saw mpg go up was when i did my superchips and exhast but those combined gave me .6 better a gallon

K&N got it about a month ago and all I have to say is oh yea this thing works. No more 4th gear going up Hills. And it sounds awesome getting on the highway
