I couldn't see spending the money for a catback when the power gains are negligible. Went and bought a Flowmaster Super 44 2.5" inlet/outlet muffler at advance auto for $70. Removed the stock muffler, and cut out an 18" section of pipe just behind the transfer case crosmember and installed the muffler there. Tucked up above the frame rails. Sounds good. Can't hear it at all over 45 mph with the Mud Grapplers I have, has a nice low rumble at idle and part throttle, and a nice growl under acceleration. No drone at any speed up to 75, the fastest ive gone since I installed it today. Total cost was abouit $80 and one sawzall blade.

My vote goes to the db Corsa dual exhaust muffler. Sounds great, no drone, and is much smaller than origional muffler.

When I had my TJ I cut out the stock muffler and stuck in a cherry bomb votex muffler and was very happy
