best headers ??

In a lengthy conversation I had with a certain tech
at borla he was very sure of the stock computers
ability to handle a full exhaust ,including headers, and cai. He did however suggest getting a chip or utec to maximize
the power gains.

I will be doing a test on these come Christmas time. I plan on having before and after dyno runs not only for the headers but also a cai(true flow xdi) vs aev's snorkel.

And for proven HP....there were threads years ago where simply cutting out the old muffler in the rear and installing a 'Magnaflow' somewhere under the driver made about 9RWHP...and it costs about $60 total

I hope it works out for you and I'll stay tuned to see your results. As for programmers, Hypertech doesn't even support shorties and Superchips doesn't support long tubes. I'd love to have a set of long tubes because i know the potential low end torque gain would be pretty big, just a little frightened about the potential nightmares.

you can use unichip, and longtube headers... and a custom tune...
