Default Best Shocks with 4" lift

I have a JK 4-door auto with a 4" lift. Need to replace the crappy ES 9000 shocks.

What would you suggest? Fox, Bilstien, King, etc.

This is my daily driver and I do desert and mountain off-road, 4 out of 5 rock difficulty occasionally. Like to go fast on wups and desert roads. Considering a better bump stops.

From research, go with Kings. It's high end but I've seen it in action and it's sick.

Well, it depends on how much you want to spend?

If money were no object, I'd choose FOX coilovers and bypasses on all four corners. As for me, I settled for FOX 2.5 adjustable racing shocks with remote res and shock style bump stops on all fours.

What brand shock style bump stops did you use? Teraflex seem too expensive.

If money is no issue or are looking for the best i would go with the kings. If you are looking for something much cheaper but still performs well i would go with either bilstien or old man emu

I chose TF speedbumps, but a few other similar options include JKS Off Road Evolution Evo Air Bump System (AIRBUMP), KING and FOX. The puck style bump stops are much more budget friendly, but they're not for me.

Just out of curiosity, why ELKA over other similar type of shocks?

Both FOX and KING have been used in BAJA (trucks &buggies) off-road racing for years, I've only seen ELKA used in m\c, quads, SxS, and mtn bike applications....

If you like to go fast, consider adjustable remote-resevior shocks with whichever brand you decide on.

IMO King is the best. I run Fox and am very happy (these are on my TJ). I also run Walker Evans adjustable remote reseviors on my TJ's rear.

I am looking into new rears for my JK right now. I'm going with either King or Fox. There are other good brands out there for less money as well.
