Default Best Shocks for REASONABLE Money??

I have the 4" Procomp on my jeep now. I didnt have alot of cash when I got the lift so I got the lower end 9000's instead of the MX8 shocks. Just wondering what everyones opinion was of a good riding shock to switch out to. My jeep is a dd and sees 70% highway 30% offroad so I need sompthin that rides good. Thanks

I'm new to Jeeps, but I've run Bilstein 5100's on trucks in the past. For less than $100 each, these are the best I've used.

X2- I ran a Teraflex 3" with Bilstien 5100 and was very happy with them on that. Smoothed out the bumps yet firm when they needed to be.

I'm thinking either Bilstein 5100s or Old Man Emu Long Travel Nitro Chargers. I am sort of stuck on these 2 choices. But I need new shocks bad because my Superlift ones are about shot.

Those would be my two top choices in that order.

Bilstein 5100 are going to perform better on-road as they're a bit firmer than the OME LT's, however the OME LT's are going to provide more droop. Some people do prefer the softer shock all around though. It really boils down to personal preference.

Cheers

Again Bilstein 5100 - on sale on their website for $300 bucks shipped you can't beat that but you should call David @ Northridge and see if he could match it?
