I put a 3" Premium Plus Full Traction lift (with Bilstein 5100's and a 1310 JE Reel front ds) on my '12 JKU. Now running 315/75R16 Duratracs on 16x8 ATX 188 Teflon rims.

Pros: Better ride and handling, higher ground clearance, much improved wheeling capabilities, REAL tires instead of the Certs that came stock on the thing, does better in snow and mud and generally slick conditions. My shocks and springs are better, yaddayaddayadda...

Cons: Cost a pile, and my mpg sucks worse than it did stock. Oh, and I'm gonna need to regear. Do any of those things bug me in the least?

Nope.

I'm about to install the same suspension kit. Your JK looks great!
I'm waiting for new bolts for the track arms and control arms.

I have 33" wheels -- 285 X 75 X 16 BFG AT on ATX Slot Black 16 X 8 Rims with 4.5" backspacing.

I have ordered the Rock Krawler 2.5" Max Travel lift, JE Reel 1310 front driveshaft, Bilstein 5100 shocks. Hopefully it will all arrive and be installed within 2 weeks.

Pros:
33" wheels will get better gas mileage and won't need a re-gear.

Cons:
If I had known I was going to get a lift, I might have gotten 35's. Of course, then would be spending probably more than double the cost of the wheels for a re-gear and new spare carrier.

Rock Krawler 3.5" lift with 39" BFG Krawlers. The lift is awesome. I had this same lift on my 07 2dr, my 08 4dr and now on my 10 4dr. I replaced the bushings a couple of months ago for $60 and 3hrs worth of labor. I beat the everloving crap out of all the jeeps this lift has been on and I have had 0 issues. RK has the absolute best customer service hands down. If you are going to use your jeep, call RK and get a quote.

what kind of wheeling are you planning to do, how big of a tire are you hoping to run and how much of a budget do you have to work with? i think you need to be asking yourself all these things before anyone could answer your questions with any real meaning.

Thanks, man. The FT stuff rocks.

You waiting on the *************** replacement bolts? Another excellent product.

They're the Rampage Recovery bumpers. Right at $1K from Amazon...about $150 cheaper than I could find anywhere else.
