Bilstein HD Monotube Steering Stabilizer (question?)

Anyone had any experience with this stabilizer or should I be looking at the Old Man Emu ?

I had a Bilstein Hd S/S for a week and took it off, made my jeep pull to the left.. Put the stock one back on and it went away..

I have a Bilstein Hd S/S and it counteracted my pull to the right. It's still on.

I have the Bilstein ss and my Jeep pulled to the drivers side before I put it on. Now it's a little worse.

Bottom line, if you don't have a pull to the right(pass side) don't get it. It's gas charged and will push to the left.

I got the fox stabilizar. it also pushed my jku to the left. I just changed the pressure in the shock works great really helps with the wind around here my rig does'nt float so much.

I run the bilstein that was sent with the AEV high steer kit. I put up with the pull to the left for about 4000 miles and it has gone away completely. Works great now.

if there's nothing wrong with your factory stabilizer, there's no need to replace it.

I agree. They all do the job. Only thing about the factory is that it tends to leak over time

just the older ones. the 2011-up are a different part and seem to hold up better.

Factory Stabilizer Leaks

After reading the thread, unsure what to do now.
Get another factory unit?
Or get one that pulls to right?:gak:
Thanks:

Depends on your mods...my stock one blew up, the tereflex one blew in 3k miles and leaked all over the garage, the bilstein has 5k miles and I added 35's and it's still fine.

I also have a pull to the right, for that reason I have been wanting this.

It's gas charged... Bilsteins are known to push you left... It's due to the ss extending, the result is a 'push' on the bar towards the driver. If you run 35's or taller/bigger, they help counteract the push.

I just installed my bilstein SS yesterday...now my jk wont shimmy....but I pull to the left...and now from I read its normal...I'm just running 31's and just recently got a 2.5 lift....and I would get death wobble when I hit a bump. So anyways my question is...would a wheel alignment fix the pulling to the left?..

Luck of the draw with these I guess. Mine works fine.
