Black grill
Ok I have an 11 JKU and I used plasti dip to paint the grill black....I liked the look alot, so now I want to do it permanently....
I see most use bedliner, and I wonder why....
why not flat black fusion spray paint???
I didnt like how the plastidip dried, it was uneven, but Im sure I could do a better job...I wanted to do it quickly to see if I liked it, and knew I could remove it

Yeah the bedliner is used for ease of cleaning and durability. If you do not want the texture I'm sure a good rattle can paint would work. Personally I had so many chips in the stock paint from rocks that the bedliner was a must. The duplicolor stuff is awesome. No chips after a year and looks just as good as when I put it on.
