Just to be sure, when you say 15 minutes, you mean for all 4 tires, right?

I really need to get better details (and parts for sale) on my website.

It uses a 2 Gallon tank. Here is a picture of the tank, mounted between the radiator and the engine.

Personally, I think this air system is the finest product that I've ever offered.

Thanks for the kind words,

Having the tank where it is mounted, isn't it in a crumple zone and be subject to clasp during a frontal accident? Any investigative work done to assure it is safe?

I'm sure the tank would make for a much better crumple zone than a Hemi - which fills the same space with about 300 lbs. of metal.

My solution is not exactly "onboard air" ... but I carry it on board when I go off road

Runs off a 1500W inverter. Will run the impact but you need to wait on it. It will do two lugs then it takes less than 30sec to get back up to pressure. I've never timed the tires but it is MUCH quicker than any of those 12V jobs.

I already had the compressor as a back-up for the 5HP one in the garage. It has been handy for air nailers and little projects around the house and now it has a new life on the trail. It will not keep up with a die grinder. I think the spec is 3.0 SCFM @ 40 and 2.0 SCFM @ 90.

It draws 8 amps at 120 which is 960W. You just need to make sure the inverter has enough surge capacity to take the starting spike.

Also nice to have the 120 for things like the lap top.
