I have had my Body Armor bumpers on for about a year when I noticed there was a couple big rust patches on the Grill Guard. This is not surface rust but rusting through where there are rivet holes on each side. I sent them several emails of which they never responded. So I called them and they told me that they couldn't do anything for me. They wouldn't even sell me just the grill guard (on this bumper the grill guard is a separate piece that just bolts on). I would have to buy the entire bumper to get the grill guard - eff that!! These vendors need to stand behind their products! Or at least make it so people can replace part of it when it is a part that rusts through so easily. I like the looks of the Body Armor stuff but won't buy anymore!

 

That's pretty disappointing, nice looking products but if customer service blows...might as well look elsewhere. Boo.

Thats odd, I had the same front on my last JK with 35K miles and two years in Erie, PA where they use a ton of salt in the winter and no rust issues. As far as customer service I peeled the winch mount area winching up a big hill and they sent me a new bumper under warranty.

 

They said that they warranty rust for 90 days - I'm in upstate NY and even here you might as well not even have a warranty - because nothing is going to rust within 90 days!! I can kind of understand if they didn't want to cover it under warranty for rust. But I even offered to buy a new grill guard. They wanted me to buy the entire bumper with the grill guard. WTF, that is what irritated the crap out of me!!

Unfortunately, my experience with them wasn't as good! I'll probably have to rip their grill guard off and fabricate something myself!
