Body lift installation price

I bought the M.O.R.E. body lift and called one of our local 4x4 specialists
to inquire about price of installation. Got a quote of $350.00. WOW!!
Is it me or does that seem high? :eek2:

I am no stranger to DIY and hand tools so will be doing this mod myself. I was curious what the fee would be if hired out since my schedule is pretty tight these days.

$350 for a body lift is very high I think. I had a body lift put on my old TJ and while I can't remember the exact cost it was much cheaper than the quote you got. I would see what other price estimates you could get and if none are good enough tackle the lift yourself. From what I understand the install is pretty straight forward.

People who do are getting SO ripped off.
4wheel parts wanted 350 to put my BB on.
I was like how about 100 and ill help the guys laughed and said no 350 and you can help if you want, i said bye bye

ended up taking me about 2.5 hours with several screw-ups and mishaps and the wrong tools.

A body lift should take under an hour

Checked out your gallery. Nice rubi, same color as mine only I have the soft top.
Been running a safari top for the last month.

No way it should be $350 for install, that's a ripoff! Good floor jack, some basic sae and metric tools and a few stout bocks of wood and you can do it in an hour.

It's a pretty, pretty easy install and at the most should only take about 45mins to 2 hours max..If timing is a factor for you and a shop must do the install they should not charge you more than 2hrs worth of labor..In my area 1 hour of labor is ~ $60, so for 2hrs it should cost only $120...Again it's a pretty easy install that should take an average of 1 hour...Good luck....

I paid $150 4-5 years ago for a body lift install on a silverado. at 4wp too. 1-2 hours worth of work charged.
