Default Body lift pros and cons?

Ok so I posted earlier about adding the Teraflex leveling kit ontop of my 3 inch coil lift and was told that I'll run into alot of issues doing that, if anyone has that setup please let me know how it's doing or your thoughts. So my ? Is what are the pros and cons of adding a 1 inch body lift? Is it frowned upon in the jeep world or a good option. Let the opinions roll!

I went with Planmans LCOG lift which includes a 1 inch body lift. I'm very happy and have nothing negative to say about a body lift.

The pros are it's an easy, inexpensive way to gain a little lift. It also doesn't raise the center of gravity as much as a suspension lift because only the body is lifted (vs. the body, frame, engine and drivetrain).
The cons are that they are hard to install on some vehicles (the 04-08 Ford F-150's for example) and some vehicles show way too much frame afterwards (the GM HD trucks for example), which looks odd. Neither is an issue on the JK though.

To me the main con is the bolts are elongated and more likely to sheer under stress. To my way of thought when modding a jeep you want to make it stronger, and this goes in the other direction

Cons are the gap between the bumpers and body but its not terrible. Also, with manual transmission shifting into certain gears is harder. Otherwise it's a good option for that extra inch. Saving about 1k since you wont need control arms and drive shaft.

I have the day star 1.25 body lift with the teraflex 2.5 lift. Have had no issues and you really cant see a gap. I have an auto tho. I've heard issues with the stick shifts.
