Default Bogger Question

I am having paralysis by analysis so I need some help.

I have 2 questions.

Do you think I could stuff the 37x13 R17 Bogger under my rig with out rubbing?

I have run the 35x12.5 KM2, but dam there was NOT much clearance btw the tire width and the rear control arm.

My Rig - 2009 JKUR
Stock Rubi wheels with spacers.
4.5 RE LA

And would it wheel good with 4.10s? I really really don't want to re-gear.

As far as the street this jeep is getting retired this summer to trail duty.
I plan on getting a RAM 2500 cummins for the daily duties.

Anyways thanks for the thoughts!

I would def at least go to flat fenders, as if a bogger grabs onto something it won't be so nice. Also with the 3.8 and 4.10's prob not your best bet, thats a big heavy tire and they will beat up your rig if its not built for them.

Super Swamper Boggers? Aren't they bias-ply? If so are you running them on the street.

That is a fairly wide tire for those narrow stock rims. What spacer thickness are you running?

Even if you find a shop that will mount the tires on narrow rims, you still won't have a low enough backspace to run them without rubbing. You will want to be down around 3" - 3.5" backspace or so. (assuming you have 1.5" spacers, your current bs is 4.75")

I didn't see any housing mods mentioned. If you haven't done so already, wouldn't be a bad idea to read through a few of the hundreds of threads on gussets/sleeves/trusses/skids/hd mounts/etc

They also won't last long especially on the street. FYI. Sweet tires though.

I have a rubi transfer case

But it seems the wear factor on the other parts by trying to run 37s is going to put me back to the 35s.

I really want to but this jeep to bed and move on to another project, so gearing and trusses etc are not on the table.

The more I kick it around on the forum I think I am going to wait until the 35x12.50 R17 Bogger is released and go with that.

The weight is low because it's bias. The size it right, no more mods required.

It's just everytime I look at bogger porn, I think " I can stuff that 37"...lol

Thanks for grounding me!
