brake line extenders

I am installing a RC 2.5" spacer lift and am noticing that my brake line do no "flex" enough to install the brake line extenders that are included witht the kit. Do I really need them? Any suggestions or idea`s

I would say yes. If the brake line gets over flexed it could bend or worse yet snap, if the extender line is to long cut it to length then put the end back on and re-flair it, should only take a minute or two to do, wort the time for your & anyone else's safety in & around your Jeep. Hope this helps.

Sway bars are still attached....Don`t do heavy offroading.....can`t cut the extenders because their thicker steel...... any thoughts

For the front lines you will need to getly bend ten downward for the extensionsto work. Same for therear. Just bend them slowly.

if they were included I would install them

Unclip the hardline from the frame, grab firmly with hands as close as possible and bend sloooowly a little at a time working your way down the line abit.

ok.....bend very slooowly. i will try tomorrow and update the post. Though I noticed that there seems to be enough slack for the rear lines. Wish me luck.

That's ok.....I started off the thread with spelling mistakes! Makes sense that others would follow suit

Ok. All done! I know the above the extender the metal lines aren't supposed to move. It doesn't look pretty but it works. Thanks for the advise guys. I will post pics later
